With three special jersey auctions down and two more remaining this season, the Hershey Bears have given their fans plenty of opportunity to purchase authentic sweaters.
On Thursday, the American Hockey League team added a sixth unique uniform auction to the schedule, unveiling its brown and white jersey for the Jan. 6 Outdoor Classic against the Adirondack Phantoms at Citizens Bank Park in Philadelphia.
The jerseys – featuring shoulder patches with both Bears and Phantoms logos – will be auctioned after the Jan. 7 home game against Adirondack. Net proceeds from the auction will benefit Hershey Bears Charities.
The team previously auctioned special jerseys commemorating the 10th season at Giant Center (Oct. 15), spotlighting breast cancer awareness (Oct. 30) and honoring their National Hockey League parent club, the Washington Capitals (Nov. 26).
The Bears also will wear unique jerseys that will be auctioned for charity on Dec. 31 (New Year’s Eve) and March 17 (St. Patrick’s Day).

Keep up the great work Dave...love the site!
Another wasted chance by the Hershey brass to commemorate the storied history of the proudest and most decorated team in the AHL, by paying tribute to teams of the past. ANY of the old designs would have made more sense. Instead, we got a generic piece of clip art.
